actually i didnt know any thing about unix , i m recently appointed as an ASST DBA in a local company , i configure the database but i have to perform all my work manually , people told me that write scripts it will automate ur work at database as well as system level . the problem is from where i start we r using IBM e-server and AIX 5.1 with Oracle 9i rel 2 would u guys pls help me and told me some links or books ,web References<br />
