dump setup
Hi,
My first question is - Is dump a good way to backup MySQL database?
My second question is - I want to backup my whole system (Redhat 9.0) with dump to an extra HD. I want to backup it everyday and I want to keep at least 6 months data in that HD (the HD is big enough). Could anyone give me an setup example?
My last question is - Could anyone please give me a detailed procedure about how to recover from dump backup?
These questions are very important to me, I will add extra 500 points during the follow up.
Thanks,
Harry
