It depends on how the website is set up.  99% of the time you find the picture you wnat and right-click on it.  This will give you a context-sensitive menu where one of the choice is Copy.  Copy it and then you can paste it into an application that accepts graphics (Word, FrontPage, PhotoShop, Photo Editor, etc.).  Then you save it on your computer.  Now you can insert it wherever you want.

If the right-click won't work, post a comment and I'll tell you how to handle the oddball cases.

Jim, in your situation there are two ways to do it easily.

(1)  Use the mouse point to the pictures of flowers on his web site that you are interested in, right click to popup the context menu. There you can find "Save Picture As". Select the "Save Picture As". Normally a file name that is designed by the picture itself will be shown. You can rename it for your own flower library abbreviations/filenames. Save the picture in format of *.gif  in your flower library. The flower library is recommended to store in your D drive which is 10G .

e.g. Create a folder in the D drive root, named it as “flwrdata” in eight characters. It is suggested not to be more than 8 characters in the root directory of your D drive in theory of 8.3 filename format.

Next create a sub-directory under “flwrdata” as “flwrpics” which is used to store your flower library pictures and images.

i.e. For example. Save the captioned picture in lily01.gif
in the path D:\flwrdata\flwrpics\Lily\lily01.gif

      You can then use it in your own Front Page 2000.

 Or

(2)  You can just saved the whole page of the web-site by selecting the menu bar of the IE browser File, Save As.  Save the page in [complete html ] format. It will download all the pictures including your interested one in a subfolder created under the filename of the html page.

Pslh, I've got good news and bad news. First the good news.
(2) was a piece of cake, it worked great.
But #(1) I had a problem, I got to the save picture as. and I created the folder "flwdata" and the sub folder  "flwpics", This was easy, I got in trouble when I went to save the file in gif. What did I do wrong?

Usually, the pictures of the web are stored in either format of *.gif or *.jpg depending on the host who make the pictures.

Thus, if you find the troubles in saving in *.gif format. Try to select the *.jpg format.
